Ejector Kerrison
The ejector pattern utilizes a pin or bar inside the shaft to "push out" bone particles before they can get caught up inside the slide portion of the kerrison shaft. These instruments are available in stainless steel and Stealth coating.
Hingeless Curved Kerrison
These kerrisons allow smoother gliding action and a better line of sight for the doctor to operate. These instruments are available in stainless steel and Stealth coating.
Stealth Coating
The "Stealth" surface is a propriety surface treatment intended to reduce the friction between metal surfaces, which makes the kerrison's gliding action smoother and last longer. The dark surface also decreases the glare from the operating room lights.
Diamond Coating
"Diamond" is a specific ceramic coating that was developed to make the instrument harder, therefore prolonging the life of the cutting edge on the kerrison. It also reduces the glare from the operating room lights while providing durability and smoother gliding action.
