Ventricular catheters:

Pudenz:

  • Radiopaque tantalum markings between 4cm and 10cm, with larger markings at 5cm and 10cm
  • Available in standard and small size
  • 18cm length

Right angled:

  • Available in sizes from 3cm to 11cm in 1cm increments.

Portnoy Flanged:

  • 18 cm length
  • Barium impregnated
  • Flanged end

Finned:

  • 15 cm length
  • Radiopaque silicone elastomer
  • Finned end

Intended Use:
For treatment of hydrocephalic patients to shunt cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from the lateral ventricles of the brain into either the right atrium of the heart or the peritoneum.

Peritoneal catheters:

Reflux control:

  • Barium striped
  • 120 cm length
  • slit walled
  • closed end

Open-ended with slits::

  • Barium stripe
  • Available in 90cm and 120cm lengths
  • Open ended, with slits

Pressure rated:

  • 90cm length
  • Available in low (15-54 mm H2O), medium (55-94 mm H2O), and high (95-150 mm H2O)

Atrial catheters:

Pudenz standard:

  • Barium striped
  • 60 cm length
  • Available in low (15-54 mm H2O), medium (55-94 mm H2O), and high (95-150 mm H2O)

Pudenz Infant:

  • Barium striped
  • 55 cm length
  • Available in low (15-54 mm H2O), medium (55-94 mm H2O), and high (95-150 mm H2O)
  • Reduced diameter distal end to aid penetration of small vessels without trauma

46cm:

  • Barium striped
  • 46 cm length
  • Open distal outlet
