The Heyer-Schulte^® One-Piece shunt incorporates quality features and components in a low-cost and easy-to-use kit. Tantalum markings and barium impregnated silicone elastomer provide full radiopacity; a double-dome reservoir with integral needle guard allows simple proximal as well as distal flushing, and a specially designed ventricular catheter introducer is included in each kit.

Available in three pressure ranges, with a 13 cm ventricular catheter.

Intended Use:
For treatment of hydrocephalic patients to shunt cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from the lateral ventricles of the brain into either the right atrium of the heart or the peritoneum.
